2 Corinthians 9:15
It is because, when Jesus was born, it was more than one miracle of the virgin birth, it resulted in three miracles as follows :. The first miracle of the birth of Christ is the incarnation . The incarnation is the miracle that God the Holy Spirit created a baby, the living Word of God, in the virgin Mary and it was in this baby that God took upon Him human flesh to live amongst us as Emmanuel to give us new life Isaiah ; Isaiah ; Matthew ; 2 Corinthians For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
The second miracle of the birth of Christ is the inspiration . The inspiration is the miracle that God the Holy Spirit inspired man to write and produce the written Word of God, by which faith comes by hearing and enables man to be born again into His family John ; 2 Timothy ; 2 Peter The third miracle of the birth of Christ is the incorporation . The incorporation is the miracle that God the Holy Spirit created His bride, the church, as His body and inspires us collectively to live for Him and to share the story of the living Word of God and the written Word of God with others so that they too may be incorporated into His body Romans ; Ephesians ; 1 Corinthians When we consider these three miracles produced by the birth of Christ, they enable us to have God the Holy Spirit physically in us to save us from death, God the Holy Spirit Spiritually in us to inspire us to walk in newness of life, and God the Holy Spirit working through us to incorporate into His body, the church, to serve humanity.
These three miracles of His birth give us comfort and joy to live for Him. The birth of Christ gives us comfort and joy to live for Him. Just as God the Holy Spirit incorporated us into His body, the church, He enables us to be incorporated into a local church to inspire and serve others and gives us comfort and joy, which inspires us to live for Him. But this year, the dad had been laid off and there were no presents and, most disappointing, no tree. The kids still held out hope that their dad would come up with a tree. The dad promised that he would do what he could. He went into the garage and emerged some time later carrying a two-by-four, about five feet tall, with holes drilled on each side. He went down the street to a neighbor whose property was bordered on three sides by a row of evergreen trees.
He was trying, but by no stretch of the imagination could this be called a Christmas tree. While the kids were trying to deal with their disappointment and the little girl who grew up to write the story was looking out the window and praying, there was a knock at the front door. The woman and her son from the property down the street with the trees were standing there with the tallest, most beautifully shaped Christmas tree that the children had ever seen.

Any refusal of such a sacrificial offer is an insult at best. The only way to know the deep, abiding joy God wants you to have is to be reconciled to Him by receiving His gift, the Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
